HTTP Request Shortcuts: Place HTTP(S) Shortcuts on Your Home Screen

HTTP Request Shortcuts is an Android app that allows users to place HTTP(S) shortcuts on their home screen to submit requests to their favorite RESTful APIs, webservices, and other URL resources. This app is perfect for home automation projects, as it enables users to control their home automation system and IoT devices, interact with their RaspberryPi and Arduino tinkerings, and execute scripts on their web server.

HTTP Request Shortcuts supports HTTP and HTTPS URLs, GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, PATCH, OPTIONS, HEAD, and TRACE, as well as basic and digest authentication, custom request headers and body, and display response in a toast, dialog, window, or run silently. Requests can also be delayed until internet connectivity becomes available.

Moreover, HTTP Request Shortcuts allows users to dynamically inject values into the request through global variables or by adding JavaScript code snippets to process the HTTP response. It also integrates with Tasker and other automation apps, including passing in variables. Users can import from and export to cURL commands.

HTTP Request Shortcuts is open source and available on Github. It is completely free and contains no ads. If you have any questions, feature requests, want to help with app translation, or give any other comments, feel free to contact the developer at
